Breakfast was excellent, though given the number of tables, the kitchen seemed to take longer than The surrounding 8, acres of gardens were designed by the same architect responsible for Central Park, and make for a lovely walk. Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor.
Even though I have not done so myself Yet , I believe that an Annual Pass is probably worth the extra price, especially if one is within a few hours driving distance of Asheville. I would imagine the seasonal blooms would make each trip different. Be prepared for crowds though, especially in this era of social distancing. Dont think there is ever an off season there! Biltmore estate is outrageously priced.
Lodging is sky high. If you're going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds. We've been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only. We tried to change our time and they said we couldnt , when we got there we noticed that was not by appointment There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate.
Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn't enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better.
The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it. This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice.
It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience. It is an amazing property. We did the Legacy of the Land tour and I did the Rooftop tour as well as the house tour.
We also ate at the Stable Restaurant for lunch. A little pricey, but fun to do if you want the ambiance. We had a great 2n stay here, on what was our first visit to Asheville. Primarily came to visit the Biltmore estate, and it was less than a mile from this hotel to the entrance!
Room was nicely appointed, quiet ,very comfortable beds and pillows. Good offerings for breakfast. Would highly recommend this to anyone for the proximity to the estate. Breakfast selection was good. The quality was microwave style foods which didn't taste very good, but to each its own.
I appreciate the variety in the options they did have so there is something for several palettes. The location was great, a stones throw from the Biltmore Estate and not too far from downtown Asheville very easy to get to. The room and hotel were clean, and had good sanitation measures in place to protect guests. We were very pleased with the hotel.
The room was well appointed, roomy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was very pricey, but, you could not beat the location to the Biltmore Village, Biltmore Estates, the Freeways, and the Blueridge Parkway. The location of the apartment home was great for the sites we visited. Pisgah, for example. We enjoyed the lodging layout, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Thank you for a memorable stay! This hotel is a good value for Asheville. The location is excellent: you can walk to shopping and restaurants.
Free parking. In room fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Needed a place close to Biltmore Estate with multiple bedrooms to avoid having to book to rooms in a traditional hotel. Plenty of room, nice location, quick and easy to get to main gate of Biltmore Estate. Breakfast was very good, restaurant was attractive and clean, staff attentive and friendly. The TV remote control was terrible. The motel didn't have an elevator. I had a pleasant stay. The staff was courteous. I had a great time. The motel was conveniently located. No hot breakfast because of Covid; just coffee, muffin, breakfast bar and bottled water. The motel was clean, though there was some mold on the shower ceiling. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. My friend stayed in the car while I stayed in the room.
I informed the staff, but wasn't happy that they provided him a room key without getting his ID or checking with me. They even put balloons in the room for my husband's 40th birthday. It was affordable and clean, and there were convenient parking spaces right outside the door.
The night clerk was kind enough to bring a cup of milk to our room. Breakfast was good and hot. I highly recommend staying here. Warning: This motel overbooked and did not honor a confirmed reservation. We heard a baby crying in the next room for a long time, which came us awake. The hotel clerk was kind and friendly. The roll-in shower was a bit small. Good breakfast. No TV guide, though.
It was clean, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The front desk clerks were friendly. Mediocre breakfast, and the coffee was marginal. It was fine for a one-night stay. Great place for the price. Clean motel room. The bathroom was great; it was clean and updated. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Stay here. The hotel clerk was nice and helpful. This is a perfectly good place to stay. Don't stay here. The room was clean, and the motel staff was helpful.
Not much dining in the immediate area. The motel room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the rates were reasonable. Close to restaurants and downtown. Due to Covid restrictions, area restaurants closed early. Don't waste your time or money here. The motel was nice, calm, and clean. Rated Average Cheap motel near I 1. The motel employees were friendly. The room was clean, the front desk clerks were friendly, and the pool was nice.
I had an excellent stay. I had an enjoyable stay. Book it. Rated Average Cheap motel 1. The room was clean, and the staff was courteous. There were bugs in the bed, and the bathroom was gross. I didn't stay and don't recommend it. The room was clean and quiet, and we had all the towels we needed.
The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here. No fridge in the room. Our interactions with the staff were positive. We skipped the continental breakfast because it wasn't very nutritious.
The ice machine didn't work, but we were able to get ice from the front desk clerk.
